Who is Modern Cali Mom?

About Me:

Welcome friends, my name is Dris. My husband , 3 year old daughter, my new born baby boy (born Jan 2019), and our furbaby live in sunny San Diego . I’m so excited to share this new journey I’m taking as a mom blogger sharing my everyday life with you. I love documenting my life and connecting with people over motherhood experiences. My hope is that I can connect with you by sharing my experiences with you as a mom. This mama job is not easy, so why not build a community to help motivate one another. I want you to think of this space as a safe place. Like you’re visiting your bff!

D and I have been married since 2014. We both work in the corporate world and this is where we actually crossed paths and started dating. He likes to remind me that I hit on him… I mean all the time, especially when we meet new people. We are both very sarcastic and love making fun of one another whenever possible!

I love to be outdoors especially the beach and run on coffee and sparkling water pretty much on a daily basis. On our spare time you will find us at the zoo, beach, or up to something fun.  I always get asked how on earth I manage to be a working mom and wife on the go 24/7 and manage to look somewhat decent. The answer is simple, Dave and I work so hard, so why not enjoy our off time as much as possible. The happy part is strictly my personality and how grateful I am to have all the wonderful blessings in my life. The looking decent part, well, concealer and mascara do wonders. LOL! Kidding, I truly believe if you look good you feel good, so why not go that route. Moms deserve to look good while multi-tasking, am I right?
