We are going to be moving Dylan into his own room in a few weeks and I’m shocked at how fast the time flew. He is outgrowing his bassinet at lightening speed, so baby boy is getting the boot, ha!

Call me a low-key helicopter mama.

Of course , being the low key helicopter mom that I am the first thing I wanted installed before the big move was a video monitor! I know I’m not alone mamas! We all want to find the best products for our kids and it’s a pain to have to review all of those. I’m hoping by putting out my honest review you will find this handy. I was gifted the Lollipop Smart Baby Monitor . Below is my review on this baby monitor.

Lollipop Smart Baby Monitor is a Wi-Fi baby monitor. This monitor has wonderful features designed with everything us parents need to help us worry less about our kiddos!

I love the flexibility of the arms of the camera. You can secure it to the crib, mount it to the wall or stand on a flat surface. It’s a super easy to install the monitor and even easier to download the app on your phone. It’s compatible with Apple and Android phones. I highly recommend a high speed network in order to prevent any delays. I think most people probably have this, so it shouldn’t be an issue. My favorite feature hands down is the Crying detection. It can detect a true cry with a low false alarm. With the amazing technology it can distinguish between crying and noise! It will notify you of the crying allowing you to view what is going on with your babe.

One of the things that I have always been hesitant on is monitors on Wi-Fi because of the lack of privacy. With Lollipop Smart Baby Monitor if you activate the PRIVACY MODE setting on your home’s Wi-Fi network the camera’s data will not be uploaded onto Lollipop’s database.

Having a strong network is important. Remember to use a password that is secure.

One thing I did want to mention is that the monitor alone does not sense temperature; however, there is a separate sensor you can purchase to match with the monitor. It senses the temperature, humidity and air quality levels of where your precious babe is sleeping. I would highly recommend purchasing the sensor. Personally, in our home the temp varies by room, so I want to make sure he stays comfortable.
