Fed is best.
After 6 months of being on maternity leave I had to return back to my working mom life. Up until now I had breastfed Dylan, so I wanted to continue to provide him my breast milk. I learned with my first that testing out if your baby will take the bottle before you go to work is a HUGE plus. I knew from experience that me trying to feed him from the bottle was not going to work, so we had my husband try it out! Definitely makes a big difference.
And when she fed her baby with love, she fed her baby the best possible way.
I was gifted the HeroEcoBottle from Herobility . This is the world’s first glass bottle made with plant based material! As always I tested it out for you all and here is my review. I started with the 220ml bottle to start our journey on bottle feeding. Don’t let the glass scare you, the HeroEcoBottle comes with a silicone sleeve that protects the bottle from breaking!
A few things I want to highlight about the bottle are:
- Double Anti-Colic System: The air valve produces an even flow and prevents air from entering the tummy! (huge plus especially for Colicky babies)
- Impact resistant glass with extra protective silicone: as mentioned above the silicone sleeve protects the glass bottle providing a steady grip for our baby’s small hands.
- I really love the colors! We got the grey and army green bottles and sippy cups.
- The have tested it to show that 97% of babies will accept this teat! It fits Dylan’s mouth perfectly! I can see why the tests were so accurate!
- Comes in two different sizes:
220 ml
$21.00 EU
320 ml
$24.99 EU
5 Different Nipple Sizes:
- XS0+ months: Suitable for breast milk and and formula. Has a shorter nipple for small mouths
- S0+ months: Suitable for breast milk and and formula
- M2+ months: Suitable for breast milk and and formula
- L4+ months: Suitable for any type of liquid
- XL6+ months: Suitable for thick liquids
I use the M2 size nipple and will continue to use this size.
I have read that you should stay in the small-medium or slow leak size if you are breastfeeding. That way it mimics the speed of actual breast milk expressed from your breast.
In watching Dylan take his milk from this Herobility bottle the silicone on the bottle really does makes it easier for him to hold. I can’t believe he is getting old enough to hold the bottle (BRB crying!) I love that Herobility has created products that are safe, comfortable and easy to use for our babies. They sell a large variety of other baby products as well! The snacks cups are a huge hit in our house hold. We also received the sippy cup that I know will be a big hit with Dylan once we move him away from the bottle.
HeroSippy Army Cup
This is for 6 months +. I plan to slowly transition Dylan into taking milk from a sippy cup at 6 months. The price is $9.99 EU. I LOVE this color. I love that the colors match across the board with the other products.
Overall, the product is made of safe materials, easy to use, and it actual works! I would definitely recommend Herobility products to my fellow mamas! Make sure to use CALIMOM15 when you order!

This sounds like a great bottle. My daughter refused bottles when she was a baby.
The struggle is real for sure!
