Dear Mrs. Claus, We See You

Women support women.

This is my motto

If this year has taught us anything it’s that we as mothers do so much and it can be overwhelming at times. This year we have added so many different hats to our role as a mother that it sometimes goes undervalued. All of the moms that I have spoken to in my community are overwhelmed with duties and I bow down to you all. We are either working from home, homeschooling, and or running our household to name a few duties that we as mothers undertake. The holidays add yet another list of duties to our plates as mothers.

A mom is a : finder of all things, a boo boo kisser, a family gift buyer, a vacation planner, a night time kiss machine, your biggest cheerleader and your dispenser of unconditional love (to name a few)

As I type this I have a long mental list hovering that includes: working, buying turkeys, purchasing gifts, organizing social distancing holiday activities, cleaning, feeding the kids, etc. and the list goes on from there for miles. My heart goes out to all the moms stressing out more than ever this year trying to do everything possible to run their home and all the other million things that lead up to the holidays. Christmas is less than 60 days away. We as mothers want nothing better than to make sure we give the best that we can for our kids and family. Does this sound familiar? Dear Mrs. Claus, I’m sure it does to you as well. I’m sure you are overwhelmed with all that you do.

My whys.

Just like us mamas, I can see Mrs. Claus wearing all the hats in helping Santa create this magical holiday for us. She is wrapping gifts, keeping everyone organized and most likely I imagine her running a tight ship, but yet we never hear any recognition of how she keeps this magical holiday together by supporting Santa. My goal is to change that.

Dear Mrs. Claus, we see you. Our goal is to show Mrs. Claus some love, support and recognition for all that she does during the Christmas holiday.

Mrs. Claus, we will make sure that everyone recognizes all that you do. We will change how people view you and you can help us by doing so as well. Join us to petition to change how people view Mrs. Claus let’s give Mrs. Claus the Credit she deserves.

Mrs. Claus is a the real MVP just like us, mamas. Let’s hype her up, because like you mamas, she deserves it.

If for whatever reason you are still not convinced on why Mrs. Claus or mothers deserves the credit check out the Dear Mrs. Claus blog post Zulily wrote providing facts on how much mothers do leading up to the holidays. Together we got this. Together like glue.

Virtual hugs mama, we all need them.

  1. An excellent idea. Whilst Santa does a stellar job in delivering presnets all over the world, Mrs Claus doesn’t get any recognition!

  2. Lol this is interesting. How did we fail to appreciate Mrs.Claus all these years? We women are super powers 🙂

  3. I’m amazed at everything that moms do for everyone! I’m sure Santa is as great as he is because he has the support and love of Mrs. Claus!

  4. Mrs Claus definitely doesn’t get the recognition and respect that she deserves. Now is as good a time as any to change that.

  5. This reminds me of the movie “The Christmas Chronicles 2” on Netflix. Santa tells the kids how the whole village was decorated by Mrs. Claus. They replied, “well shouldn’t it be named Mrs. Claus Village then?” lol I was all for it!

  6. I could relate to this, absolutely. I always make a list of my gift ideas to a certain person when November approaches.

  7. I see Mrs.Claus too! I love that we highlighted her as a woman and all woman who put their love and energy into making the holidays merry!
